Scripture invites us to live together as spiritual mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, in the Family of God. In a world that prioritizes autonomy and individual fulfillment, followers of Jesus are called to live sacrificially and interdependently as spiritual family. In the family of God, we are forged into the likeness of Christ. We are called to live as brothers and sisters who know and care for one another, and we are called to grow into the kind of spiritual mothers and fathers who give their lives away for others.
