All of us who follow Jesus have been called into a life of relationship with God through prayer.  Yet the Apostle Paul, the man who planted churches all over the Middle East and wrote half of the New Testament said in Romans 8, “we do not know how to pray as we ought”.  That tells us two things:  we ought to be praying and we’re not very good at it.   

If we’re honest, all of us can give Paul a hearty “Amen!”  So we are going to set aside two evenings this fall to explore our calling to pray.  We will meet at Frontline Edmond on October 29th and December 3rd from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.  There will be some teaching, but we will also be practicing what we are learning as we both listen to the Father and pray for one another.
